Trump is a Nigerian Politician

Donald Trump would make a perfect Nigerian politician. Asides the overwhelming absence of education, and a complete lack of social graces nor the eloquence that only true knowledge gives, he has the quicksand commitment to issues; shifty, shaky. He has a philosophy or lack of it, that can take the shape of prevalent political requirements and a palpable, overwhelming power hunger.

But asides all these, he has enough money to afford to buy obeisance, plus enough arrogance to expect all of us to kowtow to his flawed ideologies. He has been so used to wielding and abusing power for so long that he forgets that we cannot all agree with you for the simple reason that you have money, or power.

Like the Nigerian politician, he has that derision for learning and it’s visible when he speaks, its palpable in his actions. His policies smack of the ambiguity that is rife in the Nigerian polity. vote me and I will do xyz “, xyz being a list of non specific and very ambitious albeit improbable project. Usually with no plan of action and no timeliness.

Trump is a Nigerian Politician

Trump expects us all to like him, to have the mental ability of an amnesiac starfish, you know, selective forgetfulness just when it suits and just enough moral fiber to be flexible with our commitments. I laugh when I see his followers, or hear them, desperately attempt to defend him. Not by any logic but by reverse blaming. I-did-this-Hillary-did-this, so we are even. Do every other thing but take responsibility, blame everyone but yourself, somehow turn everything so that you come out on top. Maybe not unscathed but at least not more scathed than the average Joe. Just the standard argument that is made every day for his Nigerian brothers. The blind cult followership is almost painful to watch!

That this guy came this close to being the president of the United States speaks more of the American people than it does about him, especially the white, semi-educated American. It says America is a racist, supremacist, misogynistic, state with an entitlement complex a mile wide. It is said that a country deserves whatever leader it gets and if he wins, it would prove to me, in a warped masochistic manner that there is a God in heaven and America is about to be punished big time by that God.

Let us not talk about Nigeria for a while, that will be done another time. This article is more about Trump and his people than it is about us. And as I write it, I realise just how hilarious Nigeria’s politics must look to the rest of the world.

    and yes, they deserve Trump.
That he’s running for the Oval Office is a slap to us rational people. We can see from continents away that this White Supremacist is out to sink the American ship… but let me concentrate on my Nigerian recession

I just pray God shows his mercy on them o! Because if by mistake Trumps become president,Then their case will definitely be worse than Sodom and Gomorrah!!!!

    Thank you for this
I’ve been looking for the words to explain it
Everytime I watch the daily show its obvious that our leaders are trumps in chocolate coatings

    1. Errr can we not be disrespectful to chocolate right now please. Nigerian politicians are all in their own class of despicable

  4. The way I see it, Trump is just another man who could NOT define clearly the line between politics and business. He just thought of America as a boardroom and he was wrong, as the world also took a listen of his ~untrained~ unpolitical mouth. The campaign team could have helped in this regard but failed.

America secretly crave the rawness and rashness of Oga Trump or so I think!
