Purple Lips

Purple Lips

I’m in love with this simplistic singularity
Gravitational lensing gives me glimpses of what’s beyond the material
Land of everlasting sunset
Melancholic addictions and sad pills
I envy the self-confidence ignorance gives these cool kids
A taste of the 6th dimension is all I need
I’m feeling black and blue and should probably stop beating myself up about it
We kids that never really had parents, not really
Insecurities tattoo our skins with the blackened blood of a dead rainbow
Purple lips, come help me figure it out
Grant me a quick swim in the ocean of you
Obsessed with the cracks on your indifferent face
Those cracks that tell me you care, that’s why I’m still here I guess
Kiss me, give me a taste of your iniquities
And our eyes may still capture eternity
Come take a glimpse with me
